Retired teacher of Design and Technology and Art. Also ex-RAF.

Photography

When I retired I took up digital photogrphy as a hobby and now practise it as both a consuming interest where I specialise in wildlife and local community work, where apart from taking "publicity" photos I have taught beginners and intermediate users how to handle their digital cameras and process the results on their computers.

I have done a lot of work for a local Airport taking record and publicity photos ranging from weddings to airshows which took place there. I will still photograph the Airshows for the RAFA,(when they resume) and now am involved with photography at a large National Trust site.

The background to this page is a shot taken in an Australian rain forest!

Resident near Brighton, Sussex.
Have lived in SanFrancisco, Malta and near London, and travelled Europe, including France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Portugal, Italy, Iceland and Norway, plus USA , Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji! More visits always planned. Currently travelling mostly in the UK


Hobbies include photography, painting, calligraphy, computing, china and glass repair and restoration , "making things" (including web sites) and I started up a local "Men inSheds" group with which I am still actively involved. and flying in anything that will get me off the ground - from Hot Air Balloons to Jumbo Jets via Helicopters etc!
I also love travel and do so whenever I can.

Married, but no children.
